The Design Process

The prospect of designing your own bespoke or made to measure suit is an exciting one. The possibilities are endless and at the finish you will feel that you have personally created something entirely exclusive to you.

After you have made your fabric selection and had your measurements taken, comes the detail. What type of coat you want, single breasted or double breasted, how many buttons for fastening on both fronts and cuff. The width of lapel, the width of pocket flaps and what colour lining along with any contrast stitching both inside and out.

I have created a design book which visually sets out all of the options to inspire. It’s easy to then leaf through and get an idea of what you would like to be included in the finished suit. To help even more I produce a trend book each season of ideas from around the world which may help your choice of fabric or design details.

This really is one of life’s most pleasurable experiences, so relax and enjoy the journey and keep the pleasure for many years to come.
